Savor Dallas Returns for its 14th Annual Festival
It must be the year of the foodie because Savor Dallas announced more than ten events this year featuring a few of our favorite things: BBQ, brunch, wine, and music. From May 14th-20th, food lovers can taste smoked meats from Cattleback Barbeque at an event called “Cue it up” and rub shoulders with well-known Dallas chefs at the Grand Tasting. Savor is one of Dallas’ unique annual festival, putting chefs, bartenders, sommeliers and diners at the same table.
Food for a cause
Part of Savor Dallas’ mission is to support charitable causes, and last year they collected $20,000 for Cafe’ Momentum, a Dallas-based restaurant and culinary training facility, that transforms young people’s lives by providing a positive environment in which at-risk youth who have spent time in juvenile facilities receive intensive culinary, job and life-skill training, as well as continued mentorship and support, enabling them to achieve their full potential.
This year, Cafe Momentum’s Chad Houser and Paige Chenault of The Birthday Party Project (which celebrates birthdays for children who are homeless) are this year’s festival co-chairs, making even attending the event a great way to give back to your community.

Toast of the Town series features innovative culinary events – from educational and delicious seminars to one-of-a-kind dinners and conversations with chefs over food and wine. The multiple courses, wine and spirit tastings, and conversations are bound to take guests on an unforgettable epicurean journey.
Cue’ it up will be the ultimate opening night to kick off Savor Dallas. With notable local chefs and drink innovators this event provides puts a whole new spin on everyone’s favorite – barbecue!
Shaken+Stirred – Savor Dallas’ signature spirited event has it all! It’s the ultimate cocktail party featuring a range of star sips created by local mixologists and star bartenders.
The Reserve features the most premier wines including limited edition labels, with selections like Bordeaux from the top French estates curated by Goody Goody.
The Grand Tasting is the ultimate destination for wine aficionados and gourmands. More than 50 notable chefs, culinary artisans, and hundreds of winemakers come together for an outdoor barbecue, live entertainment, wine and spirits and so much more.
Detox I Retox brunch is the perfect way to detox from a week full of food and wine. This event wraps up Savor Dallas after a week of indulgences with a side of fitness and yoga.
